THE BOARD OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 24, 2025, THROUGH FRIDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2025, IN OBSERVANCE OF THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.  IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE, YOU CAN EMAIL STAFF@PGFB.ALABAMA.GOV AND WE WILL RESPOND TO EMAILS IN THE ORDER RECEIVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE 

Renewals for 2026 certifications begin October 1, 2025.  You MUST complete the continuing education requirement prior to being able to renew.  Please visit the continuing education page for additional details regarding requirements to renew.  Ala. Admin. Code r 720-x-21 has been amended on a temporary basis to allow the continuing education deadline to be extended though December 14, 2025, for 2026 renewals only.  If you are completing your CE December 15. 2025, or later, you MUST submit a deficiency plan along with completing your CE requirements in order to renew.
